One of the highlights of the NMRA National Convention is the National Train Show at the end of the week. Friday morning is only open to convention attendees and then Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday are open to the public for a fee.
One of the great things is having major manufacturers there, unlike many local train shows where they cannot always attend. Sometimes they even have special announcements! Among others, Digitraxx announced a new LocoNet WiFi Interface and Walthers had several announcements too. (Walthers’ announcement was at a “clinic” the night before but you could talk to them the next day at their booth!)
In addition to manufacturers, there are lots of vendors, layouts and activities for kids! Lots of fun!
